Electrical Engineer - Advanced Development

Voyager Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its Advanced Development team in Long Beach, CA, where you'll design and integrate complex electronic systems for critical technologies. This role emphasizes high-reliability designs and requires collaboration across various engineering functions to meet performance and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Derive and document circuit board requirements
• Create schematic drawings for high-speed PCBAs
• Develop design specifications and layouts for PCBs
• Assist in manufacturing and testing of PCBAs
• Support design reviews and customer meetings
• Provide system integration and troubleshooting support

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of PCB design experience
• Knowledge of digital logic and signal integrity
• Familiarity with FPGAs/PLDs and complex memory systems
• Experience in system architecture and simulation
• Strong debugging and validation skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Eligibility for US Government clearance
