About this role

Senior technical leader responsible for developing high-fidelity modeling and control systems for aerospace propulsion programs. Will architect system simulations, design advanced control algorithms, mentor junior engineers, and serve as the primary performance authority on assigned defense and space initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Lead development of high-fidelity models and control algorithms for propulsion, guidance, and flight control systems
  • Develop system simulation architectures for design, verification, and validation of aerospace control systems
  • Perform controllability studies and design control topologies with gain-tuning methodologies
  • Serve as primary performance engineer managing requirements, margins, and performance trades
  • Conduct system-level analysis including Monte Carlo simulations and sensitivity studies
  • Lead ballistics modeling and actuation system performance assessment for solid rocket motors
