What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable core services for Waymo's Marketplace
- Ensure reliability and low latency for user-facing services
- Collaborate with iOS and Android engineers, product managers, and designers
- Architect APIs and systems for internal and external use
What they're looking for
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in backend programming
- Experience with distributed systems
- C++ in a production environment (preferred)
- Building low latency user-facing systems
- Collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with ride-hailing platforms
