About this role

Wayve is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to design and execute automated tests for onboard autonomous driving software systems. You'll validate software on embedded hardware platforms, collaborate with engineers to identify testing gaps, and build CI/CD automation to enable faster development cycles.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop automated tests for onboard software subsystems including OS, middleware, and sensors
  • Validate software behavior on embedded hardware platforms within hardware-in-the-loop environments
  • Collaborate with software engineers to identify test gaps and build coverage for new features
  • Debug and triage system-level issues across software and hardware boundaries
  • Contribute to CI pipelines and reusable test frameworks for developer self-service testing
  • Expand test coverage by shifting existing validation tests earlier in the development cycle
