About this role

Lead the establishment of a comprehensive quality program for an autonomous food-delivery robot assembly line, transitioning from prototype to scalable production. You'll architect quality systems, supplier partnerships, and manufacturing controls while reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing in Fremont, CA.

What you'll do

  • Build end-to-end quality program including process documentation, traceability, and manufacturing control plans
  • Define quality standards and inspection criteria for parts, sub-assemblies, and incoming materials
  • Establish and manage supplier quality function with qualification, audits, PPAP/APQP alignment, and performance monitoring
  • Develop PFMEAs in collaboration with systems engineering to connect system-level risks to process controls
  • Lead Material Review Board for non-conforming material disposition and drive root-cause analysis and CAPA
  • Design in-line quality controls including incoming inspection, in-process checks, and end-of-line validation
