About this role

Wayve seeks a Triage Automation Engineer to scale their issue detection and resolution workflows by automating manual analysis tasks, building triage bots, and creating behavioral classifiers. You'll collaborate across teams to transform repeated processes into reliable, productized automation that improves safety and efficiency in autonomous vehicle development.

What you'll do

  • Document and measure existing triage workflows to identify automation and improvement opportunities
  • Prioritize improvements based on cost, benefit, impact, and feasibility
  • Partner with Detective Engineers to integrate scripts and tools into scalable workflows
  • Build automation pipelines including triage bots and behavioral classifiers to reduce manual load
  • Validate automation outputs for accuracy and reliability of classifications
  • Measure and report on triage quality and throughput metrics

  • Python, SQL, Bash/Shell scripting
  • Linux environment operation
  • Data pipeline and notebook experience (Databricks, Jupyter)
  • Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket/GitLab proficiency
  • Complex systems analysis and troubleshooting

  • Web development (HTML, CSS, React, Java) — desirable
  • Machine learning and classification models — desirable
