About this role
Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer 1 to develop and maintain complex software systems for federal government clients, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing solutions. You'll work individually or collaboratively, applying modern software methodologies while ensuring quality through rigorous testing and design reviews.
What you'll do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, algorithms, and real-time processing applications
- Review and test software components against design requirements and document test findings
- Resolve software defects and problem reports from production systems
- Contribute to system design decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS evaluation
- Perform requirements analysis and translate system-level needs into individual software components
- Apply appropriate software development and design methodologies to the development environment
