About this role

Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain complex software systems for federal government customers, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing applications. You'll work individually or collaboratively to design, test, and troubleshoot software components while ensuring compliance with documented requirements and security standards.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems across diverse domains (analytics, algorithms, real-time processing, business systems)
  • Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results
  • Resolve software problem reports and troubleshoot issues
  • Contribute to system design decisions including hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS evaluation
  • Perform requirements analysis and synthesis from system-level to individual software components
  • Apply appropriate software development and design methodologies for the development environment
