About this role

SpaceXAI is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate power systems for advanced data center facilities. You'll work autonomously on complex electrical infrastructure projects, collaborating with MEP engineers and trade partners while managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and specify electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS units, generators, and related equipment
  • Perform load flow analysis, electrical equipment evaluation, and grounding system design
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment and controllers, providing engineering support to facility technicians
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes (NEC, NFPA standards) and coordinate with utilities personnel
  • Review power and control schematics, O&M manuals, and verify system compatibility with facility requirements
  • Support design, operation, and troubleshooting of fire alarm, lightning protection, and data distribution systems
