SpaceXAI seeks a Facilities Engineer to design, construct, and maintain critical electrical and mechanical systems across Memphis and Southaven locations. The role involves project coordination, contractor management, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards for HVAC, power, security, and fire protection systems.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate site development projects and manage contractor selection, RFPs, and supplier specifications
  • Provide technical engineering support to ensure construction and maintenance comply with all codes and standards
  • Commission, operate, and maintain facilities including HVAC, electrical, cranes, and fire protection systems
  • Develop cost estimates, material requisitions, and technical specifications for multi-discipline projects
  • Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors through project close-out
  • Respond to facility emergencies and manage hurricane preparedness and environmental threat procedures
