SpaceXAI seeks a Facilities Engineer to design, construct, and maintain critical HVAC and mechanical systems across Memphis, TN and Southavan, MS locations. The role involves project coordination, contractor management, preventive maintenance, and emergency response for a mission-driven AI company with a flat organizational structure.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate site development projects across multiple phases, managing schedules and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Manage contractors through RFP, specification, selection, and contract negotiation across all project phases
  • Operate, commission, and maintain HVAC, electrical, cranes, and facility systems using corrective and predictive maintenance
  • Develop cost estimates, material requisitions, and technical specifications for capital projects
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications; coordinate inspections and permits with Space Force
  • Respond to facility emergencies and prepare readiness procedures for hurricanes and environmental threats
