About this role

SpaceXAI seeks a Facilities Engineer to oversee the design, construction, operations, and maintenance of critical facilities across their Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS sites. You'll manage infrastructure projects, coordinate contractors, maintain mechanical and electrical systems, and ensure compliance with all codes and standards.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate site development projects and manage schedules to align with operations
  • Manage contractors through RFP, specification, selection, and contract negotiation
  • Maintain and operate facilities including HVAC, electrical, cranes, fire protection, and security systems
  • Develop cost estimates, specifications, and plans for multi-discipline projects
  • Oversee capital expenditure process including reviews, approvals, and budget management
  • Respond to facility emergencies and ensure readiness for environmental threats
