About this role
Zone 5 Technologies seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer II to independently manage manufacturing processes for UAV assemblies, driving quality, schedule, and cost optimization. This role collaborates with engineering, production, and operations teams to implement data-driven improvements and scale production across multiple programs.
What you'll do
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization across manufacturing operations
- Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement measurable improvements
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve production issues affecting assembly quality and schedule
- Develop capacity planning and production scheduling strategies to meet program demands
- Design and execute assembly line and facility layout improvement projects
- Support scalable UAV production across multiple programs and value streams
