Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a GNC Engineer III/IV to develop flight control software for unmanned aircraft systems in San Luis Obispo, CA. The position involves collaboration with engineering teams on software design, analysis, and simulation for advanced UAS technology.

What you'll do

• Design and build flight controls software for UAS
• Develop software components for flight testing
• Run SW and HW in loop simulations
• Perform controls analysis for stability and performance
• Generate auto-code for embedded systems
• Conduct peer reviews and collaborate with teams

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field
• 5+ years of flight controls engineering experience
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Knowledge of embedded systems
