About this role
Zscaler seeks a Threat Response Engineer to investigate and remediate confirmed security compromises on customer endpoints as part of their Active Remediation MDR service. You'll perform threat analysis, containment, and remediation while collaborating with detection and threat intelligence teams in a fast-paced, on-call operational environment.
What you'll do
- Investigate detected threats and use security tools to analyze, contain, and remediate threats in customer environments
- Generate comprehensive reports documenting remediation actions and protection strategies for customers
- Develop and implement response strategies to strengthen customer security postures
- Collaborate with Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Product teams on threat remediation methods
- Prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment while participating in 24/7 on-call rotation
- Maintain proficiency with EDR platforms and identity security technologies
