About this role

Zuora is seeking an experienced Customer Solution Engineer to own technical wins on complex quote-to-cash deals, with deep expertise in consumption-based billing, AI-native monetization, and enterprise integration. You'll scope, build, and demonstrate solutions spanning CPQ, billing, and revenue recognition while maintaining customer relationships post-sale to drive adoption and expansion.

What you'll do

  • Own technical wins through discovery, strategy, and objection handling on complex enterprise billing cycles
  • Design and build end-to-end quote-to-cash solutions covering consumption/usage-based models, metering, rating, mediation, and revenue recognition
  • Create and manage proofs of concept as the primary sales mechanism, acting as a forward-deployed engineer
  • Build tailored demos and POCs demonstrating consumption and AI-driven monetization with hands-on API and integration work
  • Lead technical presentations to senior and C-level stakeholders translating architecture and pricing tradeoffs into business value
  • Protect post-sale technical health, ensure customer value realization, and identify expansion opportunities across accounts

  • Structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Value Selling)

  • Telecom experience (high-volume mediation and rating models)
