About this role

Join Abnormal AI's Data Platform team as a Software Engineer I to design and operate scalable data infrastructure supporting AI-native SaaS applications. You'll contribute to core systems handling massive datasets, build tools for team adoption, and grow your skills alongside experienced engineers in a fast-growing, remote role.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and operate core data platform components including databases, streaming systems, and orchestration tools
  • Build tools and services that enable other engineering teams to adopt and scale data systems
  • Automate infrastructure and operations to enhance reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Apply GenAI techniques to improve developer and operator experiences
  • Collaborate across teams to address scalability and reliability challenges
  • Own projects end-to-end with mentorship from senior engineers

  • Software engineering fundamentals (data structures, testing, debugging, clean code)
  • AWS cloud platform knowledge
