About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced cybersecurity engineer to support DoD cyber operations, including malware analysis, incident response, and threat intelligence. You'll analyze intrusions, develop detection strategies, and deliver technical findings to leadership while maintaining an active TS/SCI clearance.

What you'll do

  • Perform malware analysis, reverse engineering, and incident handling on DoD intrusion artifacts
  • Draft and implement security incident response policies and procedures
  • Develop technical analysis reports and recommendations on malware sophistication and threat level
  • Identify indicators, TTPs, and patterns to support detection and mitigation strategy development
  • Conduct log and system analysis across routers, Windows, and UNIX environments
  • Deliver briefings and presentations to leadership on cyber threat trends and situational awareness
