Data Conversion Developer
About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Data Conversion Developer to design and deploy ETL/ELT processes that migrate legacy system data into Oracle Cloud ERP. You'll build automated, high-quality conversion components while partnering with functional teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance through cutover cycles and production migrations.
What you'll do
- Define data-mapping requirements and transformation logic with functional leads across Financials, SCM, HCM, and Projects modules
- Analyze legacy system structures to identify gaps, cleansing needs, dependencies, and constraints
- Develop conversion programs using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud FBDI, APIs, and REST services
- Create detailed mapping specifications and conversion-design documents aligned with Oracle templates
- Prepare conversion scripts, sequence plans, dependency charts, and cutover runbooks
- Execute production data loads, troubleshoot migration issues, and validate records with functional teams
