About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Data Conversion Developer to design and deploy ETL/ELT processes that migrate legacy system data into Oracle Cloud ERP. The role involves building automated conversion programs, performing data mapping, and supporting production cutover activities for federal government clients across defense, national security, and civilian organizations.
What you'll do
- Define data-mapping requirements and transformation logic with functional leads across Financials, SCM, HCM, and Projects modules
- Analyze legacy system structures to identify data gaps, cleansing needs, and dependencies
- Build conversion programs using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud FBDI, APIs, and REST services
- Create detailed mapping specifications and conversion-design documents aligned with Oracle templates
- Execute production data loads, troubleshoot issues, and validate migrated records
- Prepare conversion scripts, sequence plans, and cutover runbooks; coordinate post-conversion validation and reconciliation
