About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a GCP Data Engineer to design and maintain enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions for federal government clients. You'll work with BigQuery, Dataflow, and other GCP services while ensuring compliance with strict federal security standards, requiring an active Top Secret clearance.
What you'll do
- Design and develop robust data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP native services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub)
- Implement performance tuning strategies including partitioning, joins optimization, and caching for large-scale data systems
- Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, cloud storage, and streaming platforms
- Migrate legacy data stores and ETL systems to cloud-native GCP architectures
- Build scalable batch and real-time streaming pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Beam
- Design CI/CD pipelines and implement data governance with security controls for federal compliance
