Java Developer
About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Java Developer to modernize and maintain federal systems while building cloud-enabled applications. You'll work across modern frameworks like Spring Boot and legacy systems, deploying scalable solutions on AWS/Azure with a focus on security and federal compliance.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy secure Java applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Build and modernize applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate while maintaining legacy Struts 2 and J2EE systems
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation for deployment and environment management
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud and on-premises application environments for system health
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and implement security best practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and independently complete user stories on complex issues
