About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Jira Developer to design and build advanced Jira and Jira Service Management solutions for federal government clients, specializing in custom development, automation, and system integrations. The role requires hands-on coding in Groovy and Java, REST API work, and expertise across both Jira Data Center and Cloud platforms.
What you'll do
- Develop custom Jira functionality using Groovy (ScriptRunner), Java, and REST API integrations
- Build and maintain automation scripts, post-functions, listeners, validators, and workflow conditions
- Design and manage workflows, issue types, screen schemes, custom fields, and context configurations
- Integrate Jira and JSM with external systems using REST APIs and data transformations
- Work with Jira Assets to build custom object models, automation rules, and ITSM integrations
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical documentation for all custom development
