Release Train Engineer
About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Release Train Engineer to lead Agile transformation and SAFe implementation for a national security client in Tampa. You'll facilitate PI planning, manage requirements and roadmaps, and ensure mission-critical capabilities are delivered through coordinated Agile practices across distributed government stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Facilitate Agile Program Increment (PI) planning sessions to drive alignment and continuous delivery of mission-critical capabilities
- Gather, refine, and prioritize requirements from stakeholders while maintaining traceability and governance documentation
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for RDT&E, cloud modernization, and capability deployment initiatives
- Establish Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts) and use Jira/Confluence to ensure transparency across teams
- Collaborate with leadership on Agile transformation strategy and advise on scaling best practices
- Lead stakeholder engagement across diverse government customers to ensure coordination and effective communication
