About this role

ACT Power Services seeks a Solar Portfolio Engineer to serve as the technical liaison for their growing renewable energy operations fleet. You'll oversee solar and storage facilities ranging from 500kW to 200+MW, managing performance analysis, client communications, and optimization initiatives from an office-based role in Fresno, CA.

What you'll do

  • Perform remote performance analysis of solar and storage projects using DAS and SCADA systems
  • Serve as primary technical contact for assigned facilities and lead client meetings on performance and optimization
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for underperforming systems
  • Generate site performance reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support plant managers, operators, and clients regarding maintenance schedules and control issues
  • Develop procedures, tools, and processes to optimize fleet operations
