About this role
Agate Software seeks a mid-level Software Developer to build and enhance grant management solutions for government and nonprofit clients. You'll work across the full stack with SQL and backend/frontend technologies in a hybrid role (onsite 3 days/week after 90 days) based in Glendale, AZ or Michigan.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain database-driven web applications using SQL and backend technologies
- Contribute across the stack including backend services, middle tier, and front-end components
- Take ownership of technical decisions and drive features to completion with minimal oversight
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment with evolving requirements
- Improve and refactor existing code to enhance system performance and maintainability
- Solve complex technical problems in a fast-moving product environment
