About this role

OpenEye seeks a Sales Engineer to serve the Inland Northwest region, bridging technical expertise and customer relationships for cloud-based video management solutions. You'll assess customer needs, design system configurations, deliver training, and provide on-site support while collaborating with sales and engineering teams.

What you'll do

  • Deliver sales presentations and assess equipment needs to provide system recommendations
  • Develop and conduct training courses for internal and external customers across formats
  • Prepare cost estimates and site configurations using technical documentation and blueprints
  • Support project installations remotely or on-site and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Serve as voice of customer to product management and marketing teams
  • Maintain CRM documentation and communicate post-visit summaries with action items

  • Technical support and engineering (5+ years)
  • B2B customer support experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Networking knowledge and IP video technologies
  • System design and cost estimation
  • Presentation and training delivery
  • CRM software experience (preferred)
  • Network+ certification or equivalent (preferred)
