Software Engineer II (Mobile Engineer)
About this role
PointCentral (an Alarm.com subsidiary) seeks a Software Engineer II to develop React Native mobile applications that enhance resident experiences in rental communities. You'll collaborate with full-stack developers, product teams, and web developers to design, build, and deploy features across iOS and Android platforms.
What you'll do
- Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android
- Participate in the complete project lifecycle from requirements through deployment with cross-team collaboration
- Coordinate with React web developers to ensure consistency and alignment across platforms
- Make informed technical decisions about when to prioritize speed versus robust architecture
- Contribute product ideas and collaborate on feature design rather than just implementing specifications
- Test, debug, and maintain mobile applications using appropriate debugging tools

- React Native development (2-4 years professional experience)
- Mobile app testing and debugging tools
- RESTful APIs and JSON parsing
