About this role

SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer to develop mission-critical applications powering launch vehicle production, Starship reusability systems, Starlink satellite operations, and manufacturing software. You'll own full-stack challenges across platforms handling real-time data streams, public-facing services, and internal operational tools that directly impact SpaceX's flight and production goals.

What you'll do

  • Develop reliable, mission-critical software solutions deployed across SpaceX operations
  • Build new applications that improve manufacturing, launch, and Starlink network operations
  • Create prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify technical constraints
  • Own all aspects of software development from design through deployment and monitoring
  • Investigate user problems deeply to design and implement efficient solutions
  • Participate in collaborative reviews and architectural decisions with engineering teams
