About this role
Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Software Engineer II for the Client Platform team to build core application frameworks and foundational components powering PlayStation experiences across millions of users. You'll develop React-based cross-platform applications, collaborate with senior engineers on scalable architecture, and help define the infrastructure that enables other teams to innovate within the PlayStation ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and document React-based cross-platform applications with seamless user experiences
- Translate feature requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions with Product Owners and Managers
- Define architecture and enforce best practices for performance, accessibility, and reliability across teams
- Write comprehensive unit and component tests to maintain quality and prevent regressions
- Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback on design and implementation
- Explore emerging technologies through Hackathons and innovation initiatives to drive future PlayStation experiences
