CAE Durability Engineer
About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks an experienced CAE Durability Engineer to develop and execute finite element simulations for vehicle durability and structural performance evaluation. You'll partner with design and validation teams to identify risks, recommend solutions, and support the development of robust automotive systems in Raymond, Ohio.
What you'll do
- Construct high-quality finite element meshes and models for body, chassis, and vehicle subsystems using ANSA and HyperWorks
- Perform nonlinear finite element analyses in Abaqus to evaluate component and system durability
- Conduct strength and fatigue assessments on structural vehicle systems
- Analyze simulation results to identify performance concerns and provide engineering recommendations
- Develop complex vehicle-level CAE models supporting durability and structural evaluations
- Ensure model quality, accuracy, and correlation with engineering requirements
