About this role

Design and lead the development of instrument panel systems for production vehicles, managing the complete lifecycle from concept through launch. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure structural integrity, safety compliance, and seamless integration with HVAC, electronics, and airbag systems while meeting quality and cost targets.

What you'll do

  • Lead supplier design reviews and ensure instrument panel systems meet customer specifications and safety targets
  • Develop DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, boundary diagrams, and interface matrices for structural and thermal performance
  • Manage CAD models and drawings in NX and Teamcenter with high integrity standards
  • Support integration of HVAC ducts, airbags, wiring harnesses, and infotainment within the instrument panel
  • Coordinate physical validation, crash testing, and plant builds; troubleshoot issues using structured problem-solving
  • Track program deliverables and communicate progress to leadership and cross-functional teams
