Mechanical Engineer

About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Mechanical Engineer in Arvada, Colorado to design and develop mechanical components and systems across aerospace, medical, automotive, and industrial sectors. You'll lead projects from concept through production, managing complex assemblies while collaborating with cross-functional teams on innovative engineering solutions.

What you'll do

• Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and sheet metal components using CAD and DFM/DFA methodologies
• Perform engineering analysis on equipment specifications, reliability, and costing for pumps, motors, and integrated systems
• Plan and coordinate prototype development and validation testing
• Document engineering changes, CAD files, and test reports with production teams
• Lead small to large projects with ownership of complex designs from concept to market
• Provide engineering support to resolve production and service issues on existing equipment
