About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to be stationed on-site at a major OEM customer, serving as the technical and commercial liaison for plastics injection molding operations. The role bridges internal engineering and sales teams with customer needs, managing design, tooling, quality, and program execution from concept through production launch.

What you'll do

  • Serve as primary design engineering interface between ALTEN and the OEM customer
  • Support quoting, new business development, and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Guide product and process development from concept through production launch
  • Troubleshoot molding, tooling, dimensional, and quality issues
  • Coordinate design reviews, mold trials, and engineering changes
  • Maintain relationships with OEM engineering, purchasing, quality, and program teams
