About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to design and develop software for a cutting-edge autonomous robotics platform. You'll work with ROS 2, C++, and Python across the full robotics stack—from navigation and manipulation to perception and controls—collaborating with senior engineers on real robotic systems.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for navigation, manipulation, perception, controls, and system integration
- Develop and deploy ROS 2 applications in C++ and Python across robotic platforms
- Integrate software across sensors, actuators, compute platforms, and control frameworks
- Debug and resolve system performance and reliability issues through testing and root cause analysis
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices
- Support validation through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and physical robot operation
