About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Tool Technology Engineer to lead complex tooling projects in an advanced manufacturing environment. You'll manage the entire project lifecycle from design through delivery, combining mechanical engineering expertise with project management and cross-functional leadership to deliver innovative tooling solutions that meet customer requirements.
What you'll do
- Provide technical leadership for tooling projects from design review through qualification and project closure
- Manage project planning, scheduling, budgets, and resource allocation while ensuring alignment with customer expectations and quality standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and engineering personnel
- Analyze technical requirements and develop robust tooling solutions that meet mechanical, dimensional, and functional specifications
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications and contractual obligations
- Monitor project performance through KPIs and dashboards, implementing corrective actions as needed
