About this role
A/E firm AMT seeks an experienced Transportation Engineer for their Columbus office to support diverse projects including roadway design, traffic analysis, and infrastructure planning. The role offers hybrid flexibility with 2-3 office days weekly and potential involvement across multiple office locations.
What you'll do
- Collect and analyze data for engineering reports and alternative evaluations
- Develop horizontal and vertical alignments for roadway projects
- Design cross sections, superelevation, and roadside barriers
- Create ADA-compliant curb ramp designs
- Perform roadway modeling and develop MOT/traffic control plans
- Support projects across Columbus and other AMT office locations
