About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Camera Test Engineer to oversee production testing operations for advanced defense camera systems, ensuring quality through automation, data analytics, and rigorous validation. You'll troubleshoot infrared systems, develop test protocols, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing value stream while collaborating with design and quality teams.

What you'll do

  • Manage production test flow and hands-on troubleshooting of infrared camera systems from component-level to full-system acceptance testing
  • Create and maintain test work instructions in MES, train technicians, and build failure mode libraries with troubleshooting guides
  • Develop and maintain test automation software, data analytics tools, and automated report generation systems
  • Perform root cause analysis on product failures, document results, and recommend corrective actions
  • Analyze test data to identify defects and collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams on improvements
  • Optimize test strategies for efficiency, maintain/calibrate test equipment, and support early-stage product test design
