About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the Fury unmanned aerial system program as its principal technical authority. You'll oversee the complete lifecycle from design through production and operational deployment, guiding multi-disciplinary teams while driving innovation in advanced airpower technology.
What you'll do
- Provide technical and programmatic leadership for air vehicle and mission systems from design through deployment
- Lead strategic design trades and conceptual exploration with SMEs and business development teams
- Drive detailed system and subsystem design while managing requirements, trades, and risk mitigation
- Guide teams in achieving airworthiness certifications and maintaining safety and reliability standards
- Oversee fabrication of prototypes and low-rate production articles with comprehensive testing
- Support remote operational deployment and gather feedback for real-world integration
