About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Deputy Chief Engineer to lead technical development and integration of maritime autonomous systems from concept through customer delivery. What you'll do
- Define initial architecture, technical approach, and prototype design for new maritime products
- Lead team development, timelines, milestones, and staffing needs for AUV programs
- Conduct system trades and studies on energy storage, vehicle control, payload capacity, and mass budgets
- Execute technical decisions and oversee AUV development through SRR, PDR, and CDR reviews
- Drive root cause corrective action processes and ensure reliability across the product family
- Collaborate with functional leads and identify division-wide design and process opportunities
