What you'll do

  • Design, analyze, and test DC-DC power converters for space environments
  • Conduct electrical power system and sub-system level design trades
  • Define and execute electrical power system verification testing and analysis
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop new power electronics hardware
  • Select optimal DC-DC topologies and components for mission requirements
  • Ensure fault tolerance, reliability, and design for harsh operating conditions

What they're looking for

  • DC-DC converter design and topology selection
  • Analog control and discrete logic design
  • Power electronics modeling, simulation, and testing
  • Voltage and current mode control compensation
  • AC-DC converters and power factor correction
  • Spacecraft electrical power systems and radiation effects
