Flight Software (FSW) Engineer - Platform - HITL Infrastructure
About this role
Anduril is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to design and build test infrastructure for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) environments across defense platforms. You'll develop testbed configuration management systems, integration test frameworks, and enable secure hardware resource sharing to support rapid scaling of flight test operations.
What you'll do
- Develop integration test frameworks capable of executing tests across SITL and HITL environments
- Design scalable infrastructure for testbed configuration management and deployment
- Enable shared access to hardware resources while maintaining OPSEC isolation boundaries
- Proliferate HITL and test infrastructure across multiple programs (aircraft, autonomous vehicles, space systems)
- Support test setup, execution, debugging, and real-time troubleshooting for flight test programs
- Integrate third-party tools for requirements traceability and data review
