About this role
Join an early-stage ambient intelligence startup to build a consumer AI product across iOS, Apple Watch, and Mac. You'll own features end-to-end, integrate LLM-based agents into the app experience, and ship improvements directly based on user feedback in a fast-moving, generalist environment.
What you'll do
- Own app features end-to-end across iOS, watchOS, and macOS from design through ship
- Build and integrate LLM/agent-based features including tool use, memory, and retrieval into production apps
- Develop shared backend services and APIs powering multiple client platforms
- Move fluidly across UX, UI, backend, and AI/ML to ship user-facing improvements
- Collaborate with ASR Engineer on shared backend and pipeline infrastructure
- Make independent UX and scope tradeoffs and implement them without handoff

- Electron and TypeScript/React for macOS client development
- Backend development and API design
- LLM/agent integration and prompt engineering
- Cross-platform product thinking and UX design
- Real-time or streaming systems (audio, live pipelines)

- Rapid prototyping and iteration without formal specs
