About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource on an imaging production floor, diagnosing and resolving assembly, integration, and test issues in real time. This hands-on sustaining role focuses on minimizing downtime, managing digital line operations through ERP/MES systems, and driving continuous improvement on electromechanical and optomechanical hardware.

What you'll do

  • Embed on production floor to rapidly diagnose and resolve in-line issues across assembly, integration, and test operations
  • Triage and manage production downtime tickets, coordinating with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Maintain day-to-day ERP and MES system administration, ensuring accurate production tracking and inventory flow
  • Perform root-cause analysis on hardware and process failures, implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Create and update work instructions, SOPs, and rework procedures; manage ECO/ECN implementations on the floor
  • Analyze line data to identify recurring failures and drive incremental improvements to yield and first-pass quality
