About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the primary on-floor support for their Imaging production line, diagnosing and resolving assembly, integration, and test issues in real-time. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting of electromechanical systems with digital operations management (ERP/MES) and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and drive quality.
What you'll do
- Embed on production floor to rapidly diagnose and resolve in-line issues across assembly, integration, and test phases
- Triage and manage production downtime tickets, coordinating across engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams
- Maintain ERP and MES systems for accurate production tracking, data integrity, and inventory management
- Perform root-cause analysis on hardware and process failures, implement containment, and escalate systemic issues
- Collaborate with technicians to identify assembly friction points and translate feedback into process and design improvements
- Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, rework procedures, and manage ECO/ECN implementations on the floor
