About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the industrialization of Altius autonomous drones at Arsenal-1, a hyperscale manufacturing facility in Ohio. You'll oversee the complete manufacturing value chain from prototyping through high-volume production, collaborating with design teams, optimizing production lines, and scaling critical defense technology.
What you'll do
- Own manufacturing execution from prototype through full-scale production of Altius products
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback and facilitate design-to-production transitions
- Create and optimize production line tooling, processes, and high-rate manufacturing workflows
- Develop manufacturing documentation including MBOMs, work instructions, and quality requirements
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams on sourcing, capacity planning, and process implementation
- Analyze production metrics and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and capacity
