Manufacturing Engineer - New Product Integration
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own the manufacturing value chain for defense hardware products, from design for manufacturability through production scaling. You'll develop tooling solutions, process flows, and documentation while collaborating with contract manufacturers and technicians in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
What you'll do
- Own manufacturing value chain for assigned products, including design for manufacturability and process optimization
- Design novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of structural components
- Develop process flows and documentation such as work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements
- Partner with contract manufacturers across PCBA, metallic, and assembly disciplines to establish repeatable production processes
- Work hands-on with technicians and engineers to build and iterate prototype hardware
- Travel to suppliers for sourcing, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing quality procedures
