About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and optimization of automated battery welding processes for the ALTIUS aerial systems platform. You'll design tooling, fixtures, and automated equipment while managing projects from concept through production floor implementation in a fast-paced defense manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

  • Design fixtures, jigs, shop aids, and material handling devices for current and future production
  • Develop mechanical designs for automated equipment and testing systems
  • Collaborate with technicians and product design engineers to establish design requirements
  • Own designs from concept through final delivery and production floor integration
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues on the manufacturing floor
  • Champion quality and productivity improvements on the battery welding production line
