Metrology Engineer/CMM Programmer, Maritime Division

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Metrology Engineer to develop and execute precision inspection programs for advanced maritime defense systems. You'll program CMMs and laser trackers, analyze dimensional data for process improvement, and collaborate across engineering teams within an AS9100-certified manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Develop and program automated CMM inspection routines using PC-DMIS, Polyworks, and Spatial Analyzer
• Analyze inspection data to support root cause analysis, SPC initiatives, and capability studies
• Create alignment strategies for large-scale laser tracker and portable metrology measurements
• Interpret complex drawings and 3D CAD models to validate GD&T requirements and create inspection plans
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing teams on DFM/DFI feedback for new products
• Generate inspection reports and present findings to drive corrective actions and process documentation
