About this role
Anduril is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to develop autonomous drone systems and propulsion technology for defense applications. You'll build core robotics libraries, design simulators, optimize performance across platforms like Altius, and collaborate with hardware teams to deliver mission-critical autonomous systems.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain core robotics libraries including frame transformations, targeting, and guidance systems
- Design and build Software-in-the-Loop simulators for advanced autonomous systems
- Optimize performance of Altius drone product line and other platforms
- Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams throughout product development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in deployed field systems
- Design and implement multi-agent coordination systems for UAVs
